Description
I have a lot of Chanukah drawings, because I love the Festival of Lights. It resonates with the journey of the Jewish People. There was darkness. Then there was light. Rabbi Shammai wanted to light 8 candles on the first day of the Festival gradually reducing them to 1 light on the last day. rabbi Hillel the Elder, however, started with one light on day 1 till 8 lights burnt brightly on the last day, and that is the tradition we follow. Increasing the light.
The lions in the drawings express our strength. This drawing was made in 2007 and measures 14 X 11 inches. It ships from Berlin, Germany, shipping price on request. The drawing will be shipped unframed, in at mailing tube.
