Artist Statement

Working in contemporary reflective Pewter, I create designs in which a power of presence, a strong personal statement, or an interpretive vision is synthesized into a ceremonial object. Artworks arise from my need to nurture the spirit and hopefully to reach out to enhance all our lives. Some designs have minimalist bold lines. Others have a variety of textures and actual metal appliqués and engraving to capture an image, historic event or religious affirmation.  I become a storyteller. I invite interaction and involvement of the viewer who is encouraged to participate in the design revelation.

Range of Work

Pewter Judaica and Ritual Items; Bar/Bat Mitzvah Tallis clips and Pointers; Hanukkah Celebration articles; Passover Judaica and Servers; Wedding Celebration articles; Rosh Hashanah, Purim and Sukkot Table Hollow ware, Yahrzeit Candleholders, Mezuzah, Sculpture, Judaic Jewerly
